Arthur B. Drogue most recently was Senior Vice President of Customer Development for the Americas at Unilever. Prior to that, he led Unilever's U.S. Customer Development organization through eight years of outstanding growth and earnings success while merging five separate companies into one of the world's preeminent Consumer Packaged Goods companies with over $45 billion in annual sales. His previous professional experience includes senior management positions at Best Foods, Nabisco, Northeastern Organization [NEO] Inc., and General Mills. Mr. Drogue has held positions on several corporate and industry boards and has received numerous awards for his achievements. Mr. Drogue earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Economics from Stetson University and completed an Executive Management Program at Cornell.
R. Eric McCarthey joins the Board of SPAR Group, Inc. as Director of SGRP and will be a member of the Compensation, Audit and Governance Committees. Mr. McCarthey is currently CEO of Shelty-Viking Capital Group, LLC, a private equity holding company with principal ownership in various firms. Mr. McCarthey had a 30-year career with The Coca-Cola Company and was most recently Senior Vice President, Global Commercial/Commercial/Customer Strategic Planning & Execution. He had served in several global leadership roles throughout his career with The Coca-Cola Company.
Mr. McCarthey also serves on the boards of two privately held companies, Interra International, where he is Chairman of the Strategy Committee and Saulsbury Industries, where he is a Director. He had previously served on the boards of Standard Register, where he was Chairman of the Strategy Committee and Global Imaging as Chairman, Audit Committee until the company was sold in 2007.
Christiaan (Chris) Olivier serves as Chief Executive Officer, President and a Board member of SPAR Group Inc. since September 5, 2017.
As President & CEO he fosters a “culture of growth”, focused on innovating services, creating new technologies and spearheading complimentary acquisitions. With over 25 years as a retail executive he has successfully led global organizations bringing positive transformation in the areas of strategy, business development, sales, marketing, client service and operations. His ability to unite groups and executives have continually grown revenue and client base within each company he has served.
Prior to joining SPAR Chris served as President of Retail Activation with the Omnicom Group, during his tenure he considerably increased new business. Before that he was President at Advantage Sales and Marketing managing Sales and Marketing, then Chief Executive Officer at the Smollan Group a Sales & Marketing service firm located in South Africa.
Chris earned his BA and MBA from the University of South Africa, has been married for 28 years and has two daughters. He has resided in several countries and locations throughout the world.
