SPAR Group Announces Financial Results for the First Quarter Ended March 31, 2019
Highlights for the three-month period ended
- Revenue for the first quarter of 2019 increased
$2.6 million , or 5 percent, to$57.2 million . International operations contributed$2.3 million of the increase. Domestic operations contributed$300,000 of the year-over-year revenue growth. - Operating income for the first quarter increased
$1 million to $1.7 million , compared to$730,000 for the same period last year. The increase in operating income was primarily driven by domestic operations. - Net income attributable to
SPAR Group for the first quarter of 2019 was$619,000 , or$0.03 per diluted share, compared to a net income of$124,000 , or$0.01 per diluted share, during the first quarter of 2018. - As highlighted in the GAAP reconciliation table below, Adjusted-EBITDA for the first quarter of 2019 increased 71.5% to
$2.3 million , compared to EBITDA of$1.3 million during the same period last year. Domestic operations delivered$900,000 of the increase.
